Overview

The dedicated propane-powered Roush F-150 LPI is available in Regular Cab, SuperCab and SuperCrew cab styles with XL or XLT trim and all bed lengths. Fuel tank options include a unique underbody mounted 20+ gallon toroidal fuel tank or an in-bed 50+ gallon tank for increased range. All models are equipped with a 50-state emissions package.

The Roush F-150 LPI is designed and optimized for propane. The liquid propane injection system provides precise fuel control at the split intake port for the same horsepower, torque and drivability as the 5.4 L gasoline engine. Propane specific parts include special fuel lines, a new fuel rail assembly, new fuel injectors, and propane fuel tanks. The OEM re-calibrated vehicle computer provides optimum performance and fuel economy.

The Roush F-150 LPI will be available nationwide through select Ford dealers.

Roush was selected by the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) to design, build and engineer a dedicated propane truck for 2007. PERC is dedicated to promoting the safe, efficient use of propane as a preferred energy source.
